My first time in Belize was in March 2010. I knew then that I had return to this beautiful island. So I returned in the summer of 2011. I usually stay in Caye Caulker and do a day trip to San Pedro Island.

Hostels

Caye Caulker: Tinas Place– great location, right in front of the beach, lots of hammocks, 2 kitchen but only one functions, TV room, staffs go home at 8pm so you have the entirely hostel to yourself & other guests so you can do anything you want to do haha….best advice -take bed bug spray to spray your clothes and mattress because I got bitten by bedbugs here.

San Ignacio: Hotel Venus– Nice place, rooms come with private bathroom…..hotel has a balcony facing a park so you can people watch.

Hopkins: Martha Place – OK place, our toilet was leaking, fridge is extremely old and doesn’t shut properly. Rooms come with private bathroom, TV & fridge. A nice balcony upstairs, nice owner. Look at all rooms before picking one because some are better than others…..
